Gun ownership/ growing your own food/ attacking white folks who still own land

Oh aye, and the amount of local currency to the American dollar is usually a fairly large number

Just saw her and Tim'Great Canal Journeys through India.Prunella has not deteriorated at all since the last series. She can still talk clearly walk unaided and even had a go at traditional Indian dancing.Good move dropping her this year.

Watched the last in the new series this week. Set in Wales. Prunella still out and about but looking more out of it than even during Series 7 (India), clearly being held up (not literally) by her husband, her listening/interaction had dropped, and Timothy was doing the loch opening bit as she "isn't able to do that anymore". At the end West said he was unsure if they'd be able to film anymore due to Scale's increasing deterioration. Poor chap looked distraught at times.

It was actually quite sad to see, tbh, and had the feel of a goodbye to it, even if she didn't look at death's door imminently.

Just watching the same programme now and yes it’s got that feeling she’s sadly going downhill slowly rather than rapidly. It’s been a lovely gentle series but like MSC said it could be the last one. It’s got that feeling.

Not really. People comment on these other threads in this section all the time, except hers and a few others who haven`t had a comment since 1. January  2018.

No real update but I think there’s a new canal series been done (?).

As Storm Callum rages , I’m having an afternoon with ‘After Henry’. Gentle comedy from late 80s with Pru as the lead Sarah France. Worth a look on YouTube. It’s held up well compared to other 80s comedies imho.

Ever Decreasing Circles has always been a favourite of mine, Home to Roost is a good one too

She’s no fucking idea what’s going on.

That was increasingly evident in the latest Canals series, even as her physical health seemed better. West looks a mess, imo they'll do a George and Barbara, both gone within a year of the other.

She may have no idea what's going on, but if she's still attending these events and apparently reading passages, no way she dies this year from dementia.  More likely 5 or more years, unless of course something else gets her first.

Rumours are that after signing one of the books, she leaned forward and attempted to eat it.  So sad to hear.
