Why the hell the committee chose St John Greaves and Gascoigne and left out Wilson Peters Muller Stiles is a mystery to me.

Nobby Stiles was definitely the most unwise drop from last year's list. The Queen being the wisest choice to drop.

Greaves is still a decent pick imo, but the other two (especially over Nobby) baffles me when there are better footballers to choose...

This Might be of interest

Looks like the committee scored a beauty with this pick

Could say they’ve got a real ‘keeper’ on their hands

Guess I’m gonna ‘strike’ that one down as a death

A real ‘Premier’ pick right there

The committee clearly have a ‘goal’ in mind

Thank you and goodnight, with love, BBB

Pity Sir Jim wasn't up to attending the legends game at the new Spurs stadium yesterday. If someone like Sebastian Bassong can be included as a Legend for Spurs, they need a few more levels above that for Greavsie!

It's quite clearly not a wheel chair.

It's a Kane chair.

I'll get my coat....;)

Yup, had to look that one up. Tough to be a gamer with hemiplegia, I would think, but the chair would certainly be a step up.

A film about Jimmy Greaves premiering in February next year.

Also a bit of grumbling and dismay on social media that Jimmy still hasn't been recognized by the honours system.

If you've seen the trailers for the new documentary on BT next week, it looks like a wake. Lots of red eyed folk talking past tense.

I'd completely forgotten they'd taken him off the bloody list too.

Yes I definitely think his removal was a mistake.

Turned it on, though it an obit for a minute!

Straight from the son: "[Jimmy] is not great now, he gets looked after by mum and us, but he's still got his sense of humour."

The point of that piece on radio this morning was to celebrate Jimmy's 80th birthday
