Yes, it's not COVID but he has good odds of dying anyway.

Well if he didn't have it when he went in, he probably has it now

I'd say there'll be Covid-19 cases in the final DL reckoning at the end of the year.

Yeah , I reckon so

The person posting these updates is requesting space and privacy yet seems to be sensationalising it themselves.

Their post yesterday made it sound like something was gravely wrong (like terminal cancer, coma etc.). Now we're being told he's undergoing tests and he was on the phone having a chit chat earlier? They would've been just as well keeping it to themselves and not posting anything online at all.

Yes I agree with this or wait until they have the results of whatever tests he is having and release whatever information they have then about his health, agree they seemed to make it sound last night as if he had hours left to live was expecting an announcement today to say he had died.

This so-called friend of 20 years seems to be relishing in this to generate interaction for his page. Something about his language doesn’t sit right with me, especially “watch this space”... Spurs announced it before it was released on this page so something tells me he isn’t the most informed person currently.

“No news is good news” ... surely not if he’s hospitalised?

He is Englands greatest goalscorer though ( in my humble opinion ) so that bit of the post is correct.

It's a bit of a mystery why they made this big announcement of his hospitalisation because he doesn't seem to have that much wrong with him !

Described by the Star on Sunday as having been seriously ill and fighting for his life this week.

Here is an article from them published in the last hour.

Says nothing about him being "seriously ill" or "fighting for his life".

In fact, it sounds like he's okay. Where did you see this @The Old Crem??

That status says nothing of the sort?

Is it fair to say you just misquoted the story and exaggerated it 10 fold?

Look in the text of the article on the tweet - it calls him seriously ill in it.

You're quite right. Apologies.

Confusing. Their article from tonight says nothing of the sort and none of the other papers have picked up on it.

I wonder if they got the scoop or if they're exaggerating?

Has left hospital https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52294467

He's certainly a fighter is old Greavsie.

'A statement on Greaves' official Facebook page said he was "back at home recuperating with his wife Irene".

It added: "He has been very ill and we are hoping he will be fine going forward." '

Having only been in a week the risk is he has caught it (after testing negative) through but hasnt showed yet.
