BuffaloPhil 926 Posted April 7, 2020 Spurs confirm that Jimmy is currently being treated in hospital, no further details at this point, which in itself is probably not a good sign.

Deathtreat23 189 Posted April 7, 2020 Looks like taking him off the list is about to backfire on the committee!
DeathClock 379 Posted April 7, 2020 I was scratching my head when I didn’t see him on the list this year. Seems like it’s going to be a bad miss
Joey Russ 7,220 Posted April 7, 2020 Yeah, along with Gorbachev and a few others really a head scratcher on why he was taken off...
Perhaps 1,423 Posted April 7, 2020 I keep forgetting that him and Loretta Lynn aren't on this years list, among a couple of others. Was a mild surprise when I saw this thread pop up in the main forum.

The Old Crem 3,582 Posted April 7, 2020 Sounds omnious - through why get Spurs to announce his hospitalisation if he is already dead (which is what that implies).

I believe the removal of Loretta Lynn from the deathlist will prove to be an error.

One shot Paddy 1,205 Posted April 7, 2020 Would have sworn he was still on the list. It's a funny old game!

My biggest issue with this year's list... it's definitely good, but ah, it could have been great, i.e. record-breaking.

Hmmm Covid-19 might give the committee an easy ride regarding a record breaking number of hits yet. Loads of very old people in that top 50, with or without Greavsie and they've all got lots of year left in which they have to get lucky every day.

Not only very old but the vast majority with pre-existing health conditions. Could be a record breaking number.

He's in Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, one of those in the news for being inundated with coronavirus cases. How ill do you need to be to be given a hospital bed at a coronavirus hit hospital right now without the virus? Very ill indeed, I'd guess.
