Paul O'Grady's dog Buster who until recently featured regularly on his TV chat show, has died aged 14.

Fingers crossed that O'Grady is next.

That must rank as one of the shortest retirements in (doggie) history!

World's largest animal sacrifice begins, a quarter of a million animals will be slaughtered over the next two days. :referee: I suppose it pales in to insignificance compared to the annual turkey holocaust.

The powers that be should reserve a seat for him at the next DL Committee meeting...

A trainer at Sea World in Florida has been attacked and killed by an orca. I remember reading that one of their confined whales has got form for this sort of thing and is generally kept out of view of the public, I wonder if this is the creature responsible for today's death?

Edit - It IS the same whale. Tilly claims his third victim:

Serial killer whale.

I don't suppose Tilly will be getting any medals, unlike Treo the IED-sniffing dog.

José Tomás, one of Spain's most famous matadors, has been "severely gored" by a bull and is in a critical condition. Some strange fashion choices evident in the photo at the top of the story...

And now his colleague Julio Aparicio got one under the chin. Warning: the picture with that article is rather disturbing.

regards,

Hein

I love it when the bull wins. Presumably the bull gets set free afterwards? (some chance)

There's only one way to find out.....

Urgh.

We have a separate topic for that sort of questions.

Actually, if you want to know the difference, ask my ex-husband - he's shagged loads of pigs and pensioners.
