Babiker Awadalla is back like a X-Files villain. He lives in Dublin and is in good health.

Glad Mulder finally shot him in the head.

Lech died in the plane accident in 2010.

You’re getting confused with his brother.

You beat me to it. Wofford’s death brings the number of living former U.S. senators that served in World War II down to five. Some of them are famous in their own right.

Hollings (SC) - 97 Oldest living former senator

Buckley (NY) - 96 Brother of William F. Buckley and one of the few successful third party senatorial candidates

Dole (KS) - 96 Presidental nominee ‘96 VP nominee ‘76

Evans (WA) - 93

Warner (VA) - 92 Last living husband of Elizabeth Taylor

So Alex - Fozzie Bear - Salmond lost a lot of weight a while back but did look like he'd put the miles on his body through being over-fond of a snack. I'm not thinking the current allegations about attempted rape will do for him re a heart attack or similar but a bit of Googling did reveal his wife continues to breathe and she's 17 years his senior. I guess the more his fiercly protected private life becomes public domain discussion the more obitable she becomes.

I used to see the fat tub of shit touring the curry joints of the North East of Scotland. He’s a heart attack waiting to happen IMO.

Oddsmakers would pick Las Vegas resident Joe Vento to die first, but he seems immortal.  Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, otoh, announced from City Hall that she has (stage 2A) breast cancer — then she filed for re-election.

Goodman, 79, is in her second term as mayor.
