Political Frailty

Recommended Posts

Former South Carolina Senator Ralph Anderson has passed away at 92 years old.  According to a tweet from the SC State Democrats, Anderson passed away on Saturday.

Anderson represented the residents of District 7 in Greenville County for 16 years and House District 23 in the S.C. House of Representatives for five years.

Anderson was a .... third-degree mason....

I didn't know I'd be getting the third degree!   Is that like a black belt in masonry?

SC (not SC as in South Carolina, but as in Sir Creep)

Someone will have to step up to run it first.

I could run the Poker Tourney for a year, but that all rather depends on when I am up and running (if ever) with an internet connection.

Problem is would Fish qualify under them there rules?

As you might remember, Brazil's right-wing populist president Jair Bolsonaro was almost killed by a knife attack before he took office. Now he had surgery to remove the colostomy bag - and now a week later, he's hospitalised with pneunomia:

Now Bolsonaro might have skin cancer (and canceled events because of exhaustion last week):

Report of the death of David Lambie, former MP for Central Ayrshire and then Cunninghame South. He'd be 94 if correct:

This report somehow mentions Cunninghame North, which makes it a bit suss.

US Senator from Georgia Johnny Isakson is resigning at the end of the year. He had a growth removed from his kidney, a fall breaking a few ribs, and his Parkinson’s is progressing. I doubt he sees 2021.

Following up: The 'growth' was in fact renal cancer.
