I've found two/three FB posts from verified profiles announcing his death on February 18. Seems genuine by all accounts, just media being slow. I'll award points. Search for his Arabic name (without middle name Ahmed, you find it on Arabic wiki) on FB and you'll find posts with even more than 2000 reactions, and there are no denials. Good enough for me now,

So now we've got 99-year old 1970s South American dictators on top of the oldest living state leaders list.

Mexico is actually Central America. Bermudez and Echeverria are so despicable not even their families wish they make it to 100.

So, to sum it up:

1)Is Mustafa Ahmed Ben Halim dead? No

2)Are Arabic media a bunch of dorks? Yes

3)Are African centenarians immortal? Yes

Next starts at 2pm, another a hour later, there will be around 150 of them this week.

Jokes aside, I've got that "two for each continent" one that would need more participating.

Anyway I found the "official" denial on FB, so I'm now 100% sure the decrepit PM is alive. Groan.

Dan Bongino (2024 hopeful) has nodules on his lung.  Not going to comment on his politics or anything but to be honest I'm not sure he will even make it that far...

He looks pretty well - his first term as Lord Speaker ends on the 31st August next year and he certainly looks like he will still be in post till then. He is eligible for re-election through.

Resigning early to focus on HIV/AIDS (Which he is deeply passionate about) - feels like an cover for him to not have to say he is unwell.

I spoke with one of his neighbours recently. He’s actually doing a lot better healthwise, having recovered from whatever it was he was suffering from this time last year. From the way everyone was describing it I thought he was a goner. Now I think he could have a few more years left on the clock.
