Third Navajo Nation President to die during the last 11 months. This means that all except one of the Navajo Presidents and Vice Presidents (Two people who were both President and VP, two other Presidents and three VPs) from before 2003 are dead, the one living being Peterson Zah, the initial Navajo Nation President 1991-1995. Not to mention that the last Chairman of the Navajo Nation 1970-1989, Peter MacDonald (also a WWII code talker) is still living and 92 or 93 years old. He was removed from office and sent to prison for corruption until being pardoned by Clinton in 2001 on his last day in office.
