I saw that and thought one of two things either he is really ill or the green room was very well stocked.

He was back on TV this morning saying what a wonderful woman Theresa May was and he looked in good health. I think he may have been a victim of hospitality on the previous occasion.

Goran Hadzic on release for treatment for terminal brain cancer...

http://news.yahoo.com/croatian-serb-rebel-hadzic-belgrade-release-cancer-treatment-092139824.html

See Vojislav Seselj for recent evidence that he'll linger on...

Hmm apparently dead, though not sure of the source: http://www.dtt-net.com/en/index.php?page=view-article&article=9993

I'll do some digging. Edit: There's this too: https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://www.klix.ba/vijesti/regija/preminuo-haski-optuzenik-goran-hadzic/160712105&usg=ALkJrhj8iJ_vmHkn6K4c-WCnjdxZiSA40A

Seumas Milne (I fell foul of a con trick by a journalist pal - is there no ethics in deadpooling? )

Well, I assumed I'd fell foul of a con trick, but on seeing Corbyn's communications director on TV a lot the last few weeks with recent events: christ, he looks bloody awful. Got the Swayze weight loss look going on.

No proof, mind you.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - president of Turkey and recent coup attempt survivor - was quoted on the news at lunchtime detailing special forces climbing down ropes from a helicopter and F16 jets intercepting his airliner; i.e. he damn near died.

Given the tonnage of those now purged and the resulting instability in the country, is he a player for 2017?

Aye, but there's a coach load of the core troublemakers and tens of thousands of the purged - you're struggling to hone all that talent into a DDP theme team

Hell no, but the leaders of said failed coup are ripe for listing.

The pancreatic cancer of US Representative Mark Takai has spread:

http://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/news/2016/05/19/hawaii-congressman-mark-takai-wont-seek-re.html

He will retire, which might significantly diminish his chances of a Daily Mail obit next year.

Predictably dead, at only 49:

The first death this year that had me thinking "one for 2017".

That's a unique pick on the DDP for Crossing the Styx.
