Is anyone else feeling a little guilty about hounding Dr Z off the forum?

 

Unless he has been banned, which is a matter for the mods, I am slightly worried about him.

 

He was annoying and hopelessly right wing and a little obsessed but he did know what he was talking about from a DL point of view and in earlier times participated in a bit of banter.

 

It is not like Shroud who basically showed up armed to the teeth for a massive fight.

 

However I am now within 8 posts of Dr Z.

 

I hope other members who are frequent targets of derogatory posts (particularly MK and Sir C) don't decide we are no longer worth their time.

I don't actually mind Sir Creep. His style can be a bit loud at times, and the obsession with what forums certain posts should go in rather daft in a forum which makes up the rules as it goes along, but even so, he does post a lot of potential DDP fodder.

He crossed several lines. No one drove him out. The last thing I ever said to him was that I couldn't kill myself because my mum won't let me, which was a jab at his constant whining on how down-trodden he claimed and how much control of his life his mum had. I think he may have ranted a bit after that then vanished.

From the way he would insult not only myself, LFN and various others on here, I had no qualms in giving the little shite as much in the way of verbal abuse as he gave others.

I kind of like Dr Z.Yes he is a bit of a w***er at times and rambles on a fair bit but he does come up with some good lines now and then and always ensures some entertainment on these forums.He is a bit like that one member of any group who is deliberately provocative for the sheer hell of it.Those people though do make things more interesting that`s for sure.

I actually like Dr.Z and though he (and Phantom) don't know when to just let something go, I just ignore it and carry on. Maybe he's my guilty pleasure, as I'm prolly responsible for a good 30+ 'likes' of his. That doesn't mean he isn't obtuse moreso than not, but amusingly obtuse. I find his 'participation' defies definition in that maybe only once in 6 months will he post an obit, meaning bringing something to the table. 4000 posts later he prolly hasn't posted 15 obits.

The regular gang of posters are an entertaining bunch of down to earth folk who are harmless enough with a great sense of humour, wit, common sense & intelligence IMO.

 

My rule of thumb is 'treat others here how you would like to be treated yourself'. Slagging off/taking the pi$$ out of the dead is why I'm here. That's about it really.
