Christopher 'Bigguns' will be the last cast member of that and Porridge imo.

Was thinking along those lines too. Quite possibly the last Transylvanian as well.

Doesn't quite work because I only write bios for those who are not already DDP picks.

Report of the death of Hilary Hayton, creator of Crystal Tipps And Alistair. https://twitter.com/HarriettSG/status/810888397166415872

IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2188642/

I didn't realise the series was that old and I also thought it was foreign.

You live and learn.

I've been watching that recently as one of my colleagues mentioned she thinks I look like Crystal Tipps ( I got my hair cut after that comment). Crystal Tipps was a bit of a cunt actually.

I wasn't expecting stars of my favourite kids TV shows to die for another few decades, that said Mark Speight died while I was still watching SMart. Sad.

Tinky Winky wasn't gay, Simon Barnes was brought in because the previous person who played him wrongly played him as a gay character.

So the average pre school age child would just, like, have KNOW that Tinky Winky was being played as a gay.

I agree with you, complete farce that Dave Thompson was sacked over that but the producers though otherwise:

Bizarrely it was the guy who was brought in to replace him, Simon Barnes, who drew fire from the god brigade
