Current or retired, so they should be ok.

Yes as long as they have sat in the House of Lords during their career.

The problem comes with heredity peers as whether they sat before or after they inherited the title.

I tried to send something but I got an error saying Bibliogryphon cannot receive any new messages. I take it your inbox is full?

Sorry about that.

Cleared some space in my inbox.

New teams welcomed.

Can we get into double figures of teams?

Entries end a week today. Don't get caught out in the Midsummer Deathslam stampede get those entries in early.

I'm still intending on entering, done most of my research, just narrowing it down to the chosen few. Burt Kwouk just walked out of the running for a spot on my 'People Who've Appeared in Doctor Who' picks (Four to Doomsday, 1982), which is annoying. Still, plenty more to choose from...

Yes two other players had to make a Kwouk change as well.

I had actually forgotten he had been in DW until the entries came in.

Ah well at least I have the gratification of knowing I've not missed out on a unique pick... :D

I have just realised this game is virtually the Deathlist equivalent of Pointless.

Only if we have a hundred people.

Right peoples. I will probably not be back on the site until Tuesday lunchtime when I am hoping any last minute entries will be in so we can get everything in line for the start on 01st June. Remember you may need to find some replacements if I reject any of your picks.

Have a good weekend, unless you are spending it trawling through the internet researching these five topics.

For the Us elections question does it have to be general election candidates or does it include failed primary candidates as well?

Only General Election candidates but not just the two major parties.

I probably should have asked this before submitting, but does joining in this game mean we have to join in every game or can we opt out of a game if we don't like the categories and have a go at the next one?

There is nothing to compel you to join a game and new players would be welcomed each time the categories change.

There are 14 confirmed entries. All entries need to be in today and I will put up the master lists and blank scoreboard on Thursday after making sure everything is OK.

Good luck to everyone who has entered and I hope you will be as considerate as I have been if you have the good fortune to win.

OK This is how the scoreboard will appear.

Each player has five digits after their name and abbreviation these correspond to each category Doctor Who/Lords/US Elections/Test Cricketers/No.1 UK Singles

If a player scores a hit then one of the numbers will change. If the player scores a unique hit the colour of the whole entry will change Black = 0, Green = 1, Orange = 2 and if they get three they win.

SWITCH sw 0/0/0/0/0

I would like to thank all 14 players for getting the teams in on time and being so inventive. There are lots of unique picks and lots of ones that might slip under the radar if we are not careful. Anyone who i have had to go back to has also been very understanding about why I have questioned their picks.

GAME ON!!!!!

Red indicates a unique pick. This is the category that got the most number of separate picks. Some are quite obscure and don't have Wiki pages so might require close following of Toby Hadoke's twitter account.
