Plus i suspect they Will be concerns about his age and health.

maryportfuncity 10,658 Posted December 21, 2021 Berlusconi's still with Marta Fascina, right? He was 85 in September, she's 32 next month
The Old Crem 3,608 Posted December 21, 2021 It’s not a public vote but a vote of parliamentarians. He would have a better chance in a national vote.

Yes, because parliamentarians are famously very good judges of character and never advocate divisive people of a certain age.

The Doctor 88 Posted December 21, 2021 I am not so sure if he will be able to ensure himself enough parliamentarians for the election. And now here in Italy people are talking about a female president. But maybe I am wrong and next year, in February, he will be our 13th President...

As an Italian I agree, for years he seems have to die but in the end he is perfectly fine for his age. The perfect Italian for 2022 would have been Giorgio Napolitano (or Vincenzo Mollica, but I don’t know how well known is abroad, he is one of the most famous Italian journalists). The Doctor 88 Posted January 1, 2022 AS Italian I am happy to see Italy back again on DL (after the last one was Dino De Laurentiis in 2010). But I still think that former president Giorgio Napolitan is still a better choice. If Berlusconi was a really a name to put on the Deathlist, I think that he shouldn't be considered for precidency in the next moths.
