Thank you then I will.

This is quite hard. There are a few years when I am short of Ladies. Will need to be quick off the mark when someone goes.

20: - Michele Morgan

21: John Glenn - Alicia Alonso

22: Steven Hill - Barbara Hale

23: - Rose Marie

24: - Leslie Philips

25: - Arelne Dahl

26: - Irene Papas

27: Harry Belafonte - Gina Lollobrigida

28: Joe Jackson - Ann Blyth

29: Bud Spencer - Jane Powell

I'll update my list because I've got trouble finding people....til then don't touch my enteries

OK, I quit.....take my people...it's too hard and I'm too busy...

Having finally got round to looking into this, I'm taking Hades up on his offer and co-opting a few of his names, largely since when I was looking at who else had been chosen 3 of his names had popped into my head before I got to his list. Some of them were really tough to find anybody, and I'm sure there's a few on my list who won't get the QO (I think a few other players may suffer the same fate) but fingers crossed someone else goes first. Assuming there are no objections, my picks are:

1920 - Henry Heimlich, Marsie Taylor

1921 - John Glenn, Hazel McCallion

1922 - Steven Hill, Rachel Robinson

1923 - Vic Seixas, Valentina Cortese

1924 - William Russell, Cicely Tyson

1925 - David Graham, Cara Williams

1926 - Mel Brooks, Jean Alexander

1927 - Harry Belafonte, Gina Lollobrigida

1928 - Joe Jackson, Jean Kennedy Smith

1929 - Max von Sydow, June Squibb

Nice one, I'm in:

1920: Teddy Johnson + Michèle Morgan

1921: Prince Philip + Jackie Stallone

1922: Stan Lee + Betty White

1923: Franco Zeffirelli + Pearl Carr

1924: Leslie Phillips + Eva Marie Saint

1925: Michel Piccoli + Arlene Dahl

1926: Hugh Hefner + Charlotte Rae

1927: Benedict XVI + Cleo Laine

1928: Martin Landau + Jeanne Moreau

1929: Bud Spencer + Ursula K. Le Guin

Bud Spencer seems to be the first hit hereabouts.

Edit: Hang on, they need a BBC obit right?

Fortunately I drafted a new list on the train yesterday

1920 Fanny Waterman/Michael Anderson

1923 Dina Merill/ Franco Zeffarelli

1926 Cicely Berry/Leonard Fenton

Seven steals from my original team. Seven!

I've too much to do today, if I can cobble any kind of team together later I might enter.

What can I say? You had a very good line-up! Think I stole 4 in the end, but it could have been more. I did try and steer clear of a few of yours, knowing I'd already taken some, but then, of course, there were others. Anyway, apologies, but I doubt any of them will end up dying next anyway!
