He still seems to be going strong at the moment. Has a new reality TV show out in the States that's going to be shown on ITV I believe.

88 today. :birthday:

Well we cant have Willz get away with all of these things now...

Appears to be his usual self*, but with age creeping up, cant be too long before this music legend is one of our DL50 imo.

*If you didn't watch that show where him, Fonz and the Lean Mean Fat Reducing Boxing Machine George Foreman hung out last year, you missed yerself.

He recently revealed two battles with male breast cancer, once in 1992, then in 2013:

Otherwise, still fine!

Survivornet.com ist more and more become a standard research outfit, isn't it?

He was in one of those OAP get together shows last year and looked in better nick than Terry Bradshaw (sort of the Kevin Keegan of US sports) who is 15 years younger!

This is awesome - in the way the best of his recordings are awesome - inexplicably overlooked in most "best of" lists for music released this year.

I mean, they could have at least given him  an award for the best album by an 89 year old

Will he outlive Robert Wagner in the battle of totally innocent men whose wives they were divorcing just happened to go for a swim one night?

OOhhh, harsh - Nerine (third of his four wives) was found dead in their pool, he was away working that day and found her, LAPD ruled out foul play and it was well-known amongst his friends he was supportive and helping her deal with her alcoholism

Definitely a case of the Shat being shat on by life

Was briefly blind-sided by a Shatner fan on FB posting about a "new" album. Nothing of the sort, but maybe a timely reminder of a musical "career" so strange as to be celebrated by people who have little interest in the various genres into which The Shat has insinuated himself over the years. His prog excursion of 2013 was - arguably - the furthest out of all such adventures.
