William Shatner

Recommended Posts

Saw him being interviewed on the View. Still looking good and mentally all there. It's pretty rare for a 90 year old to be that sharp.

William Shatner turned 90 four days ago, meaning he's lived a day longer than writer Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Is it really necessary to make these posts?

I agree!  Please banish these ‘birthday’ posts.  It’ll be sad to eliminate about 80% of YoungWillz goddamn existence around here.

At risk of adding to the irrelevant stuff - here's The Shat's official video for a track from the Blues album. 89 at the time and almost touching the heights of Has Been and The Transformed Man

It's incredible how well he looks - considering he just celebrated his 90th birthday. Thought I'd mention that here.

Centenarian material, if he can drop a few pounds.

Amazingly agile for a 90 year old with a snack-happy belly on him

Will go to space with Blue Origin this October - making him the oldest person in space ever.

BBC have some details, same as Bezos - ten minutes in space, taken there by the prick-shaped rocket and surrounded by a few other randoms in the - ermm - cockpit. Hammier than the Shat at his best, very fitting: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-58792761

Still in really good shape for a 90 year old, going by this video . If he survives riding Jeff Bezos' dodgy phallus into space, I think he has some years left in him.

D'ya think he'll have Shat himself once the g-forces kick in?

Probably the oldest person in space for a looong time. He might just be the healthiest 90-year old on the planet. (and off).

10 minutes of absolute cliffhanger.

Can I get those 10 minutes back please?

Whilst we're discussing the Shat himself can I mention one of the most gloriously surreal novels I ever read? The gist of the plot being that Shatner attends a convention where - as a result of some fairly improbable plotting - the event is then stormed by versions of himself from parallel words meaning that the action mainly involves every character Shatner has played in long-running television series colliding with every other such character, hence the resulting Shatnerquake. Altogether more inventive and entertaining than watching a very old man ride an overpowered sex toy to the fringes of space.

Glen de Vries, one of the four crewmates on that flight last month reportedly dead at 49 in plane crash.

He was the co-CEO of Medidata Solutions.

Is his name William Shatner? No.

So why the fuck is it on this page?

This comment has less to do with William Shatner than his post did! Oh wait, now mine does too.

Everyone on this site is so aggressive. Just remove the post if it bothers you that much.
