Only on threads created after the downgrade upgrade. I don't know why they cant get this guy to sort it out.

The public are in favour of changing legislation to allow him to, but the conservatives think it might *god forbid* be used by other parliamentarians as an opportunity to allow female emperors and so are unlikely to change the legislation.

From our point of view is his abdication actually likely to prolong his life in the same way as its seems to have for Pope Benedict XVI?
