Martin Aitchison, Mota Singh, William Trevor, Ruth Gruber and David Manusco this week. Bit of a clear out of the backlog. Enjoy the show.

You could walk down most high streets with pictures of that entire line up and draw a blank if you asked people who they were.

They drew a blank, but I know Aitchison's work on a google, he illustrated most (all?) of the Ladybird kids books which were in every single library I ever visited growing up.

And be lucky if you weren't beaten up and/or arrested.

Why would you be arrested?

Castro special this week.

Well, you have to be someone like the queen or the Beatles to take that one over...

Late entry for Andrew Sachs?

He did, and somehow beat Fidel Castro.

I was hoping they'd try and make a political connection with the Fawlty Towers Basil the rat episode. Franco was still alive when Basil said 'don't you have rats in Spain or did Franco have them all shot'. But a bit tenuous I guess.

I'm still scratching my head on why Sachs was before Castro.

Along with Franco, arguably the three most famous Spanish-accented men of the 20th century.

Peter Vaughan a definite, but what about Van Williams sneaking in?

Leonard of Mayfair to sneak in and coif a mention.

Could be a parting shot.

John Glenn moves into the Producer's orbit.

Glenn, Vaughn, 1 or 2 archives, and Lake at the end is my final guess.
