Last Word may be last chance for David Fisher to get an obit

Cyrill Regis is a shoe in, Probably Bella Emberg and Dan Gurney and probably someone who did something 'worthy' that we have never heard of.

Well now he is dead although I should have referred to him as Lord Justice Brooke

Well that has two of my unique DDP picks in but not the one I am in need of.

Aha! That explains why when I saw that a few minutes ago, my first thought was "Didn't he die a few weeks ago?"

They could have junked one of those middle three for David Fisher.

This week (copy and paste from the BBC):

The actor John Mahoney who played Marty Crane in one of America's best-loved sitcoms, Frasier.

Hannah Hauxwell, whose solitary life as a farmer in the Yorkshire Dales, made her a favourite on the Deathlist.net forums.

Scientist Ken Seddon, a global leader in his field of inorganic chemistry and pioneer of so-called 'super solvents'.

Landowner Sir John Cotterell, who helped raise funds to save the Mappa Mundi from being sold by Hereford Cathedral.

And feminist icon, Naomi Parker Fraley, the inspiration for "Rosie the riveter", the factory worker who featured in a US wartime poster.

This week:

Billy Graham (duh)

Laura Lee (advocate for sex workers' rights, very woke, very now)

John Morris (composer for numerous Mel Brookes films, wrote the score for The Producers)

John Pitman (the Sheena Easton guy)

and

John Bosco McAtasney (the last living weaver of damask linen in Ireland, obviously).

Bad luck anyone who was hoping for Claribel Alegria or Ann Gillis to get the call-up.

Baylis gets the lead spot over Bannister. Penny Vincenzi, Ian Aitken and Lerone Bennett Jr (African-American historian) make up the starting five.

Veritable fish in a barrel - download 'em and dust 'em off week this week, then.

How do you get a job working on Last Word?

Dull, dull absolutely curveball-less lineup this week: Hawking, De Givenchy, Michele Hanson, Sulston, Dodd.
