Wish rockhopper was still here to do this, he made last word a lot more entertaining than anyone could ever try to do...

It's an unmissable show (imo) but there isn't that much discussion you can get out of it here, really.

Did Hepton get fully snubbed? That's shocking given the names on offer of late.

Harpist Helen MacLeod (who is still taking bookings on her website)

Eh, let's not harp on that too long.

As I am looking for names for my classical music theme team, maybe I should check out more harpists? You know, like Royal Harpist Catrin Finch.

Big fan of this line-up, ngl:

Burt Reynolds

Lord Peter Melchett

Rita Borsellino

Ajit Wadekar

Reynolds' one features contributions from Karen Krizanovich, who gen-xers will remember as Sky Magazine's agony aunt in the mid-90s. Very excited for the Boresellino segment.

The fact that Jacqueline Pearce is not in there is a travesty of the highest order. The BBC should show some loyalty to their own.

Surprised that John McCain isn’t in there. You’d think that someone who had as big of an impact in politics as McCain would be a shoo in for this...

If there were too many populist picks who got massive coverage elsewhere, it wouldn't be on Radio 4.

It's incredibly British.

I've forgotten what a gen-xer is, but I remember her from somewhere.  I don't think it was Sky Magazine though.  She also went by Karen K in some columns.

To clarify - I don't dispute she was in Sky Magazine, I just don't remember ever reading it.

Folk born in the late 60s or the 1970s ie the bit in-between baby boomers and millennials.

People who come up with these tags are all wankers and wrong uns, imo.

Jacqueline Pearce, the actor best known for playing villains in "Blake's Seven" and "Dr Who".

Lord Thomas, the Chief Executive who introduced ethical banking at the Co-op.

And Stan Brock , the cowboy and pilot who provided free health care to thousands in the USA.
