The record of the amount of drop 40 hits per year is also broken as well, breaking to 14 deaths in a year...

I hope the pun is something like Dead by a Century, but knowing the committee, it’s going to be something like the Tragically Dead, isn’t it?

He is my DDP joker, so Pan Breed will move from 50th place to....oh about 49th place.

Surely there's a Hip song title that can be used to convey a record being broken?

Worst case scenario I guess they can do "The old record goes Downie"

Wow, didn't expect him to be the record breaker! Thought about Kirk Douglas or King Michael.

Congrats to everybody at deathlist for finally breaking the record of 14 hits after 14 years !  I must admit I was starting to think we were   going to be stuck at 14 yet again !

PS Gord Downie R.I.P

Very sad indeed,

But I really wanted him to survive, and I also wanted the record to be broken by a DL legend, but here we are...our 15th death is somebody 90% of people here didn't know about before his awful illness (and don't try to pretend otherwise!)

Again, RIP Gord, you were a great fighter, but you are never called a "dead cert" for nothing.

I'm looking at you now, Michael I.

Any mention of Sawchuk in the obituaries?

I had a feeling something might happen while I was away playing golf...

On the Xbox of course....
