Any early Super Bowl predictions?

My guess is Raiders vs Cowboys.

As good as Dallas O-Line is and how dominant they have been a Rookie QB is such an iffy prospect.

I am going Falcons-Raiders

New England Patriots and Detroit Lions. I also reckon Kansas and Dallas are in with a shout this year

The Raiders will bottle it

Packers vs Bears extremely nerve-wracking for this Chicago boy.

Packers scored 7-0.

Field goal and touchdown had a Bears lead 7-10.

Packers brought it up to 27-10.

Bears tied it 27-27.

Then a fucking field goal made it 30-27 for the Packers, dammit all to hell!

Cleveland won a game.

Jacksonville won a game.

San Francisco won a game.

New Orleans beat Tampa Bay.

Arizona beat Seattle.

NFL Christmas of miracles!

Plus two franchise quarterbacks broke their legs (Mariota and Carr).

Last NFL Sunday of the regular season.

I'm gonna miss watching a game while constantly checking the scores of the other 10 games.

Now that Carr is injured, Super Bowl will be Dallas vs Kansas City, or Dallas vs New England, or Dallas vs Pittsburgh... basically Dallas vs some AFC (obviously) team.

Unless you think he's going to commit suicide over it, I don't know why that's relevant. I would think that Gary Kubiak resigning over health concerns would be a more fitting post.

The Giants (great defense) or Packers (Aaron Rogers) are capable of spoiling the Dallas party although I think they'll make it to the Super Bowl.

Well, then, here is the playoff bracket.

Reckon Pittsburgh will beat Miami, Oakland will beat Houston, Seattle will beat Detroit, New York Giants will beat Green Bay.

But nothing's certain. We'll find out by the end of the weekend.

After today's big win, I reckon Atlanta might win the Super Bowl.

They have a pretty shitty defense, but their offense is just ridiculously good.

(Oh, and as a fan of a shit team that didn't get anywhere near the playoffs, I'm hopping on their bandwagon.)

Why is the word sports in quotes in the title of this thread?

And I don't need any input from the European cheering section - I ask as a matter of grammar policing only. :)

Well, I had originally titled the post "REAL Football (and other Murican sports)".

But this triggered Paul Bearer. He wanted to lock the thread at first, but then he just settled on changing the title to what it is now.

And then there were four.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs New England Patriots for the AFC Championship.

Green Bay Packers vs Atlanta Falcons for the NFC Championship.

I'm rooting for the Falcons this postseason, and as a Bears fan, I despise the Packers and would love to see 'em lose.

So Sunday's game is really important to me. But I gotta admit, I'm scared shitless of the Packers. Aaron Rodgers could just throw a bunch of Hail Marys and win. That man is fucking unfair.

OTOH, if they're gonna lose to anybody, it will be the Falcons. Since they started "running the table", they haven't faced a QB nearly as good as Matt Ryan. Not to mention the Falcons have way better recievers than the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers is unreal. The Packers-Cowboys game was a doozy with a flurry of scores and lead changes down to the wire. Rodgers has an uncanny ability to throw pinpoint passes while on the run (like the one with 3 seconds left). If anyone scares a Patriots fan like me, it's Aaron.

My New England Patriots versus the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI (they affect Roman Numerals in these things). As a lifelong Patriots fan, I never thought a shoestring franchise like the Patriots would ever get to the heights where everyone hates us and now refers to us as "The Evil Empire". Real credit is due to owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick and of course, best QB of all time Tom Brady. Let the hate begin!

Kraft sounded very old and slightly feeble yesterday.
