Ah well, still a sensational result for your first year. Take a look at the older DDPs and see how Spade and DDT started... It all has to begin somewhere.

Quite interesting... while we are behind now, I reckon we could catch up to last year because a lot of the low-hangers haven't been plucked off the branch by the Reaper yet.

Anyways, I'm kind of curious as to when the next update will be. It's been 2 weeks now without one, but obviously that's understandable because there have only been 4* front-page-able deaths so far. By that I mean those who will have write-ups on the front page because they received obits and aren't FFBI Vault material. It is usually standard for there to be 6+ of these deaths before an update.

So I wonder if TMIB will just say "fuck it" and make a small update, or wait a couple more days for some more carkers.

*This is assuming TMIB feels like writing about the 146-year-old Indonesian liar, rather than just stuffing him in the Vault. If he is Vault-bound, only 3 front-page-able deaths.

Anyone willing to do a stat on all the current top 20 survivors like last April?

My last hit was Peter Skellern. I'm definitely losing faith in the Reaper.

Hm. For me, I'll say that I have Booth, Campbell, Christie, Downie, Gilbert, Meads, one of Ricketts or Stefansson, and one of Baghdadi, Brady, and Loughlin dying. So about 8 left imo. But who knows.

My bad Lynne Stewart was the last hit.I am banking on Christie (my joker) Smith Hart Nobby Stiles Pete Frates Helen Fawkes and Daisy Berkowitz to save me from humiliation.Came 20th last year.Cant see that happening this year.

Feels more and more like we're in for a 2009 type year where most of the heavy hitters check out but many of them wait until the summer months to do so.

Jan and Feb were quite busy but March, April and May less so. I am expecting a flurry of deaths across June, July.

I wouldn't rule out May getting quite busy later on and by that I mean the month not the Prime Minister zig zagging around the country saying strong and stable!

The month is still young

If you've got a 1000 name longlist do you mind giving me a hint as to what line of work you're in. I'm actively seeking summat that'd maintain my salary but ask for fewer hours a week from me than the current slave-drivers want.

I do a fair bit of foreign travel on my own and I don't drink. Perfect time to research.

To be fair by the looks of it he gets paid to jetset all over the world for the government or a large international firm. Needs something to do with all that time in airport waiting lounges.

It is actually quite a small firm but this past week I have stayed in six different hotels and visited six factories. Not glamorous.

You know, the fact that it looks like one of my gambles is probably going to pull through is probably the greatest achievement I can ask for in my debut DDP year. You gain nothing if you don't take risks, but Brady is a well played gamble imo.
