If Stobarts are delivering the news, he'll be three weeks dead before we hear...

Aye, but they'll undercut the delivery charges of the competition

Just watching Monday Night Football here, and 76 year old Robert Kraft, Chairman & CEO of the New England Patriots doesn’t look good at all - actually looks like he’s gained significant weight. Would certainly merit a UK obit, IMO.

Hmmm - there is a generosity in sharing on this site that makes it hard to compile a list that is anything other than a compilation of posts on here! :D

Yes, all those names give me the shivers. After all, who are the ones that are NOT being revealed?

Great news: Roy Moore lost the senate race. Thinking he might be on a suicide watch?

He's too shameless to do that and will try to squeeze out more dollars from the idiots who voted for him by playing the victim.

Mitch McConnell on the other hand...

Is Alabama up for grabs in the mid-terms?

If so, I can see why they voted Democrat...temporary measure, yada yada yada...

Anyway, astounding news.

I thought before the votes were tallied that Moore would still eke out a win, even with the allegations, due to how ruby red Alabama is. Very pleasantly surprised, even if a race with a pedophile candidate should never be so close.

This seat is up again in 2020, so the Dems will have it for another 3 years. It will certainly revert back to the norm come then but certainly a useful boost while they have it.

Wait a minute...Moore is not conceding...we thought it's all over...

Of course Moore is acting up, given his character I'd be stunned if he conceded gracefully... Apparently the margins needed to allow for a recount need to be <.5% and Jones won by 1.5%.

If Democrats can win in Alabama, they can compete anywhere. This and the earlier elections in VA just show how healthy the party is. I'm starting to believe dems can win Arizona and Nevada (potential John McCain's other seat in AZ) and hold the leaning republican states of Missouri and Indiana. This still only gives them a 51-49 majority though...

One of Moore's opponents in the republican primary, Mo Brooks, has 'high risk' prostate cancer:

A little bit of a stretch since she is young and all but Fergie "Fergie" Duhamel is acting a bit weird lately with this interuption at the "Trevor Live Gala" and then another one at the same Gala

And she has recently come out saying that she used to use meth, i mean she did just go through a divorce with a kid. Maybe she turned back to her old habits?

A bit of random Googling in search of obitable talent this week reminded me that James - God's cop - Anderton is alive and 85, and that Gerry (and the Pacemakers) Marsden fronted a band that included his older brother, Freddie (who doesn't appear to be dead, yet)

Just watched a BBC Four doc about Rock n Roll.

Don Everly looks okay.

Jerry Allison from The Crickets looks incredible for 78.

Jerry Lee Lewis looks and sounds horrific. Would be shocked if he makes it to 2019.

Jerry Lee Lewis was seriously ill about 5 years ago, many thought he wouldn't pull through. He is booked to play the Viva Las Vegas festival next year.

One to really keep an eye on is Dick Dale. In very poor health. Having to tour relentlessly to pay for not only his medical fees, but that of his wife. Also, legal fees as his previous wife is suing him.
