Zsa Zsa's leg 884 Posted June 19, 2017 Otto Warmbier, a Norh Korean prisoner from the U.S. Who was held captive for 17 months and sentenced to 15 years of hard labour has died. He was released this month after North Koreans reported he had fallen into a coma due to a sleeping pill and botulism. Doctors in the US found no evidence of said botulism and say he was beaten. And think of his family too, they must be going through the gates of hell right now with all of this,

Pretty sure I wasn't the only DDP player last December that conclude that he was utterly fucked, but a risky obit.
maryportfuncity 10,642 Posted June 28, 2017 Dave Rosser - doesn't even have his own Wiki page Hmm - I did consider him (and trust in the geek's manning obit pages on the broadsheets); but this'll be interesting.
gcreptile 10,964 Posted June 28, 2017 Dave Rosser was last mentioned by the Guardian last month, including cancer fight. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2017/may/04/the-afghan-whigs-in-spades-album-review-soulful-alt-rock The probability of an indirect obit might slightly be above 50%, I'd say (You know, concert review, "band gave tribute to their member who lost the battle against cancer" But yes, interesting to see if Indie favourites get the QO by default. I got burned by not picking Thomas Fekete last year. I don't want to make the mistake for the next candidate in line.
Spade_Cooley 9,515 Posted June 28, 2017 Difference was that Fekete was in a band who were a current, ongoing concern. Rosser was only in the AWhigs in their reformed state 10 years after their commercial peak. Be interesting to see though.
