Another one for Advent Avalanche.

Very sad news. My pick. I really thought he'd go this year, been ill for ages.

You beat me to him.

I had to go for Peter Sallis instead.

He was on my draft shadowlist for next year.

To be honest I think he is over-rated as a Director

Incredible, I did not expect the Advent Avalanche as well as it's doing in the DDP. But it may drop a lot of places if Leah Bracknell and Gord Downie are both still to die. Still, 95 points as an experimental team. That's insane...

It's more of a crowd-sourced team, surely?

Let's see if she gets an obit. I cut her from my list because I had doubts that she would obit...

Well known country music stars like Willie Nelson and Waco's own Wade Bowen are mourning the loss of Ben Dorcy III, also known to friends as "Lovey" or "King of the Roadies."

The 92-year-old was a fixture in country music for nearly 70 years hitting the road with some of the best-known acts in country music and being nicknamed the "world's first roadie."

Dorcy started his career in 1950 when Hank Thompson asked his stagehand to go on the road with him.

Over the years, "Lovey" hit the road with everyone from Willie Nelson to Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and more recently turned up at shows for acts like Waco's own Wade Bowen.

(Edit: I see now Thatcher posted in Country thread, I  missed it)

David Shepherd, British conservationist, artist and founder of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, has died aged 86.

So, what's left of him to be devoured by rodents, then?
