Back in the day tough Nobby would have dealt with any misbehaviour - could even put the stare on a press photographer when he had to!

That article is from September.

Sadly nothing has changed since then...

The report wasn't all negative though.

Quote

His sons, Rob and John, have located a supply of DVDs of the old United games in which the Holy Trinity of George Best, Denis Law and Bobby Charlton relied on Stiles to flush out opposition danger. To their astonishment, he has responded.

'Peter Osgood - great player, son, great player,' he told Rob while they were watching a re-run of one of United's two 1966 First Division games against Chelsea, which saw the team draw at Old Trafford and win 3-1 in west London two weeks later.

'There was some recognition of the players from him,' said the 75-year-old's son. 'He doesn't recognise us a lot of the time, but watching the games seems to make a difference. While we were watching one of them he asked me: "How are you son?"

'The games seem to bring something out of him in a way we didn't expect.'

He is now in the final stages of his Alzheimer's battle according to his son. A dead cert for this year?

Looks like one of the most controversial drops in DL history has been justified but only if he makes it to midnight and is on the 2019 list.

That was Leah herself. Nobby isn't aware of surroundings to go on daytime tv.

Yer overthinking this. In the experience of the seasoned dead poolers hereabouts life is a terminal illness and NOBODY escapes the Grim Reaper, even those whose ability to linger seems charmed are (Clive) DUNN in the end, heh heh.

The long timers round here will remember many, many names who seemed like they would cheat all types of ill health, only for all of them to reach the same terminus in the end. Brackers joins the long list of Swayze, Dr Granger, Al Megrahi, and other lingerers, and one day Nobby will join that elite Deathlist list...

In terms of lingerers, no-one will ever beat Zsa Zsa. Bits were literally falling off her before she died!
