I have to say I'm surprised he's still alive. He's bound to be a hit this year.

Meh.... July 13, 2017. If he managed to hang around this long, he'll make it a little while longer.

Just read a little on King Michael's biography. I wonder how bitter he is over having been forced to sign that abdication paper nearly 70 years ago. I think my picture below probably sums up his life perfectly.

Certainly a better diagnosis for the King than our own Government....

(little bit of politics there...)

Maybe you should have a poll on what will fall first: Michael, Akihito, etc, etc, or the May Government.

Feels like it's been an awfully long time since we've heard anything about him, I'm expecting a death very soon.

Maybe he has a condition of chaos?

I guess his chronic leukemia is under control and of course, he's frail, he's very old. I thought he'd be long gone by now but maybe he's another Billy Graham and lingers on without an end in sight.

Yeah, but I don't think so.

Re Graham - his somewhat controversial son is due to preach in the UK and is attracting opposition in Blackpool because of his anti-gay views. Significant because a sizeable radio news report about it on Radio Four didn't venture much beyond identifying him as Graham's son. No news about the oldster's health is probs good news (for them).

His daughter, Princess Margaret, spoke of his health last week according to Romanian press.

"The Health Status of His Majesty King Michael is still fragile but stable, said Sunday, at Savourin, the Princess Margaret Heroine. 'His Majesty had a very difficult year, incredibly hard and very fragile at the moment, but he is stable. He has a quiet summer, which makes me happy,' said her Highness Margareta."
