Spade_Cooley 8,920 Posted January 16, 2017 Whatever happened to Jossy from Jossy's Giants? Had (as I vaguely recall through the mists of time) one of the greatest first lines in TV history, "I've been watching you lads from behind them bushes..." Wouldn't get dialogue like that these days. Gotta love Sid Waddell. https://www.spotlight.com/1572-8943-3926 Starring in "Pitmen Painters" at the Oldham Colosseum, apparently.

charon 4,937 Posted January 16, 2017 Trisha - the precursor to Jezza Kyle. Seems she went to America according to her Wiki page but nowt since 2014. Maybe the only problems she's dealing with is a morning Suduko with her coffee. She was .married a rake of times, some in Oz I think. Just the person you would look to for advice. Coles ffs, own R4 programme, not exactly dropped off the radar.

Handrejka 1,837 Posted August 29, 2018 Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but was thinking about Richard O'Sullivan which got me to wondering whatever happened to his former co-star in Dick Turpin, Michael Deeks?

He is 62!!!!!!!!!!! Nowt since 94 Handy, although you have, no doubt, checked that anyway. Maybe he went behind the camera. I looked up Ellis Jones a while back. He was in stuff like The Squirrels and Pardon My Genie ( 70s stuff ) then vanished. He became a big cheese at RADA.

Yes, I had a look, thought he might be doing theatre work but couldn't find anything 62 is n't old and he would only have been in his late thirties when work seems to have dried u. I guess he changed career if work wasn't forthcoming. I found the below tweet from quite a few years ago that said he'd moved back in with his folks. It's not important, was just curious. https://twitter.com/RobertWRossEsq/status/174536237590392832 And then there's this one. Just in case anyone is wondering, I'm not his stalker.
Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,132 Posted August 30, 2018 I didn't mean to imply that 62 is old ( fuck, I'm closer to that age than I am 42 ) but I was just surprised at the fact that I last saw him as a young chap riding a horse. Time flies by

Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,132 Posted June 4, 2019 Has this been done before? If it has, merge it, delete it, fuck it etc. Anybody remember Nanette Newman? Wife of Bryan Forbes and mother of Emma Forbes, she was pretty prominent on our screens decades back as an actress and 'celebrity cook' long before celebrities cooked, or summat. She always carried an air of 'the eternal virgin' about her, so much so that she would make Ann Widdecombe look like a cock hungry, sex crazed whore. One minute she was there and the next, gone...... She is now 85 so, as that much missed legend of the oche, Sid Waddell may have said ' She will NOT be making one of the greatest comebacks since Lazarus'. What is she doing now? Any news? Any possibility of a pick? Any others long forgotten and now ripe for a deadpool pick? 1

I don't know how true that was but I gave them away before my most recent house move as they were tiny and orange. Not that it's relevant to anything but you just reminded me. Whatever happened to Jeremy Austin from Worzel Gummidge etc ? I think at least one website said he was deceased but there doesn't seem to be any evidence of that. Yes, I can vaguely remember something pertaining to his death, Handy. However, as i cannot even remember starting my own threads, take that with a pinch of salt.
