In the 80s I was initially wary of Chung's Wang, but I learned to accept it.

One of those odd occasions when there's a certain creative and ironic pleasure in posting on the wrong thread. But, re inappropriate sexual behaviour it's Aled coming out now (heh heh).

You don't suppose he used his cock as the nose for the 'Snowman' instead of a rancid old carrot?

You only have to post it in one thread.

I searched under Yewtree and posted here and then realized Max Clifford probably did have his own thread.

Thought I'd run through who's alive/who's dead after the recent death of "Extra Leg" Rolf Harris, and today's announcement that Chris Denning died 16 months ago...

Arrested and subsequently convicted
Gary Glitter (wiki), 79, glam rock singer
Dave Lee Travis
(wiki), 78, DJ and television presenter
Max Clifford (wiki), died 2017 (aged 74), publicist
Rolf Harris
(wiki), died 2023 (aged 93), musician, television personality and painter
Chris Denning
(wiki), died 2022 (aged 81), DJ
Michael Salmon, died 2018 (aged 83), medical doctor at Stoke Mandeville

Geoffrey Wheeler, 77–78, BBC employee <-- will probably die off radar but as there are no close matches up to 2021 in the GRO, I assume he's still alive

Other arrests
Freddie Starr (wiki), died 2019 (aged 76), stand-up comedian and impressionist
Wilfred De'Ath (wiki), died 2020 (aged 82), author and journalist
David Smith, committed suicide 2013 (aged 66), chauffeur
Ted Beston, 86–87, BBC radio producer <-- there is a fairly strong match in the GRO Index of a "Thomas Edward Beston" who was born in 1937 and died in 2021 in the borough of Greenwich (Ted Beston lived in Bromley, which neighbours Greenwich)
Jim Davidson OBE (wiki), 69, stand-up comedian and television presenter
Mike Osman (wiki), 64, DJ and impressionist
Paul Gambaccini (wiki), 74, DJ and television presenter

Walid Moussa, 83, BBC Arabic translator <-- again, I expect he will die off radar but not in the GRO up to 2021

Additionally there were also 4 other arrests, but their identities were never revealed. Their ages now would be 87–88, 84–85, 75–76, and 75–76.

Note: Stuart Hall (born 1929), Fred Talbot (born 1949), Ray Teret (1941–2021), William Roache OBE (born 1932), Michael Le Vell (born 1964), and Neil Fox (born 1961) were all arrested during the same period, but not as part of Yewtree. The first three were convicted, the latter three were not.
