Nº689. Should we start a sweepstake on how many more he can complete before passing ?

Well, as he seems to be doing them weekly now, I reckon he’ll stop after N-714. So that’s 25 to go, I reckon he’ll finally be too weak to do them by August, before he ultimately goes in November.

He looks in better health than December 2022 and videos are weekly again.

So, I don't think he will go soon.

But, like the Queen last year, he could also die without any warning sign.

I predict he will die before n°730, but not necessarily in 2023 so ...

for me he's a goner this year. He's gone down quite quickly since 2022 and I agree with Daredevil, he may be a late hit in the second half of the year.

The fact that his journal de bords are now weekly just makes me think that they want to enjoy him the more they can because they might think he has not much time left

Hopefully.

Is he dead yet? :D (Notes for Lafaucheuse, it's deliberate irony, as popularised by many great French writers...)

good point !

In my opinion, more jdb than recent weeks seems his health are better, but this also coul significate they want to make videos as much as possible because he could be frail and anable to do them at any time...

He doesn't look at death's door to me. For example, unlike a lot of terminally ill older people, his hands are not discoloured. I reckon maybe another couple of years.

Made his 690, a bit more wrinkled, but other than that not much change from 689.

In terms of death, he looks like he is in the middle of the DL candidates. Not one of the first to die (no Nigel Starmer-Smith), not one of the last (no Alan Alda), about half will probably go before him, he’ll still probably go before the other half. Still touch and go whether he will see 2024- feels like a November or December 2023 death.

Postly them weekly feels less like "here's a form guide for an old bastard not going to die anytime soon" (we can see it already) and more like promoting Le Pen, imo.

Yeah, perhaps just post them when it looks like he has deteriorated signifcantly compared to earlier journals. I'm for sure not gonna watch him talk if it's not even gonna give me some new insights on his possible demise.

Hasn’t posted any journal de bord in 2 weeks which is strange considering he went back to one per week (even two per week in late february) since december; and even weirder considering France political and social crisis currently going on. I was expecting to see him talk about retirement and riots but nothing.

no news about him for nearly 3 weeks. I think it's strange, especially with French strikes and riots ...

Yep, that’s What I said just above, I check everyday to see if he has published another video but nothing new. If there is nothing on the 9 of April it’ll be a month without anything so it’d be more revealing I think. Also checking Marine’s accounts to see if she became silent (which would mean something is up) but she’s still here bullshiting about retirement so I’d say he’s not on his deathbed yet

On a side note, what is interesting is that Lorrain de Saint Affrique, the journalist who interviews him in his journal de bord has recently liked a gay porn video on twitter. Aaah the shame when you mix your personnal account with the pro one :)

I recall Lafauchuse originally guessed Le Pen’s Journal de Bord to stop at n. 694, which is still his most recent!

Several reports of his death on Twitter…

some say they decided not to announce it today because of April’s fool but I don’t know if this is not the joke in itself

The thing is, several unrelated accounts reported it at the very Same Time, around 1pm including some nationalistic ones with more than 10k followers so wait and see
