I wouldn't say so yet. Sure, it looks like he'll probably get 16 of his members, but there are still some people he doesn't have that could knock out his lead. Greg Gilbert is the primary one I'm thinking of, and there are a certain amount of gambles that could still come through.

He doesn't have it in the bag - have you seen how close Spade is with fewer hits?

 

I'm still on the TJS to win boat, though I think he and I have done a masterstroke in letting our rivals burn through their candidates now, while ours drop off later.

If Mihai lasts to the new year surely that has to be the Quantick network in action? Someone whispering "don't you know if you go now, someone else will win the DDP" into the King's ear, and that magically keeps him perked up.

Don't forget, Captain Chorizo lost last year by the six weeks Seijun Suzuki died too late. Well, and the Sadhana Shivdasani thing.... 

 

My prediction, in some other thread, was Death Impends. But we'd have to start seeing Rayya Elias bedridden to make that a possibility, I think.
