His mother, a staple of Late Night/Late Show (I always loved her "Guess the Pie" segments), passed away yesterday (R.i.P.) on Dave's birthday.

He's also had quintuple bypass as early as 2000, when he was 53, which is approximately the same age his father had when he passed away.

Definitely a candidate and a very big name that should not be missed.

Considering his mother died in her mid 90s, then it'll likely mean he'll reach a great age as well. Just a thought.

Rick Scheckman, long-time David Letterman colleague (joining NBC's "Late Night..." one month after it started and working with him until the CBS "Late Show" run ended), officially called "Film Coordinator" but also appearing in some sketches (notably as Elvis), has died aged 67. Multiple health issues reported.
