Shirley Maclaine was born in 1934, but the thread is about Joan Collins, who was born in 1933.

That's what I thought and hence why I highlighted her name when I quoted the post from 2017, which was the last place MacLaine was discussed on the forum, according to the search function.

Time for her own thread?

Not if there's nothing to say.

In the event that there is any news about her, wouldn't Hollywood Possibilities do?

Are you sure? Every source online says 1934...

My mistake I thought you were talking about Joan Collins

All I can say is that Joan Collins was a legend. She will be sadly missed when she goes. I am praying for her.

In theory she should be ok for a few more years but her sister had a very sudden decline so anything's possible.

It's positively ancient.  I remember my boss coming out with that one in about 1980.

Be it 2021, March 2020 or even about 1980,  the word 'can' must be omitted for the joke to function at its optimum level.

Rings on her fingers.

Bells on her toes.

Mattress on her back.

In case she meets someone she knows

About 1990 my French teacher came off with "what's the difference between Joan Collins and the M1? Not everyone has been up the M1".

Joan Collins was on Saturday Night Takeaway last night during the sea shanty part and she looked like she had no fun at all.
