Next Years Deathlist Creativity Thread

Cosgrove certainly feels like a possibility if he doesn't go beforehand. I'm always surprised Jim Bowen has never been on DL either.

Shane McGowan would be a horrible pick, as will most problematic drunk 55 year olds like Gazza. Please refrain from nominating any of them next year.

Shane has been violently abusing his body most his life.He is 60 in December and for chain smoking alcoholic former heroin addicts that is pretty remarkable. The guy has looked like death as long as I can remember.Must be high risk of heart attack stroke cancer cirrhosis and other problems. The guy can`t walk and will I doubt ever quit drinking.

Both seem Deathlisty.Bowen particularly I feel is the sort of pick the committee would go for.

This is the sort of post I mean. It crops up a lot. Clutter. Maybe have them in their one place, instead of in many threads, many many threads. (No offence intended Shaun btw - example of a post rather than poster)

I'd say it's just me being a grumpy sod, but then, we all know I'm a grumpy sod.

I will replace Campbell with Olivia Newton John. Can`t believe I overlooked her.Should be in the top 10.

The big thing is trying to work out which legitimate British acting icons are now in the DL timeframe. Geoffrey Palmer's surely due a call up? Now Robert Hardy's dead, who else can look up disdainfully from a newspaper as well?

Richard Wilson has had heart troubles and I will say this very quietly Tom Baker  and Brian Blessed might be worthy of consideration.

I heard recently from (character actor name removed, off the record) that Tom is quite frail now. :(

Was in my first ever DDP team.

Both the 2011 one I sent to the wrong email, and the 2012 successfully sent one! And yet, somehow still sodding on....

Yeah, The Crowdsourced Deathlist is really helping lead the way on that front. Especially as some of the survivors might not get the same support next year.

Good idea.

Hey in line with a comment earlier in the thread, I was going to read JP de Cuellar's memoirs and reveal 10 Fascinating Facts about the guy from it. However, the library don't have a copy. Well, the thought that counts, and all that jazz...

Go to his thread today if you can. See the last few Pages of his thread that are full of interesting facts about the man. He is a renaissance man, ahead of his time in many fields.

Some of those facts were uncovered by me earlier this afternoon, after many hours of research down at the Bodleian, with a quick run over to the Cornell Library to double check them.

Javier Perez de Cuéllar was a dull pick? He's turning out to be one of the most legendary men on the face of the earth as we slowly uncover facts about him.  Anyone one who has some sort of relation to Richard Nixon, Iggy Pop, and Jesus Christ has to be a mythic man...

Surely Deathlisty, agreed. Astin, of course,  was in one of the all time great films: the Italian spoof horror Silence of the Hams.

I was watching 'The Frighteners' earlier with Astin in it. Certainly a big enough name imo.
