Donald Fagen

Recommended Posts

Earlier this month, one of two Steely Dan members passed away from an unspecified illness. Walter Becker.

Now, just breaking, the other Steely Dan (that being Donald Fagen) member has canceled all remaining tour dates because of a unspecified illness. Will this be nothing or another rock pair this year?*

I like the Steely Dan album Katy Lied, just because they put a type of cricket called the katydid on the album sleeve.  Puns like that appeal to me.

Maybe, his wife died about 6 years ago unless you're talking about someone different.

I remember one of our secondary school classrooms had a wall full of Album covers because, well, they can be ART!

I don't buy many CDs anymore ( apart from a Four Tops Greatest hits album and a  Motown Anthems thingy at HMV this morning.....2 for a tenner infact ) so is the art on the covers still up to scratch or not?

A few years back Ultravox brought out a new album called Brilliant.

What they put on the cover:

The Steely Dan farewell tour seems to become a pretty definite affair:

Edit: No, sorry, it's the Eagles farewell tour and Steely Dan are the supporting act. And Donald Fagen has to be replaced by Sheryl Crow.
