The 3rd Crowdsourced Deathlist (2018 edition)

Got it!

All the breakable records at this point are going - points needed to qualify, most points by an individual, and so on. And even then, there's 31 names who can jump into the top 50 with a single vote, and a few still to vote as they've mentioned above. All to play for.

I wonder if Vera Miles is now in contention as she was my sub who replaced Carmen Franco who was my first choice worth fifty points.... :o;)

Hmmm. I wouldn't put a bet on it, sorry.

Right, wake up from a few hours sleep, and there's 5 new teams to add! Must be Hogmanay!

So I'll send off my own DDP teams and sort those out ASAP.

Thanks! I've been wanting to participate in the last two years, but couldn't come up with 50 names. But I'm ready to send my list right now. Hopefully, I've made it easier for you by writing their respective points in brackets, and bolded the ones carried over from 2017.

Edit: Sent. Although why on earth did I write "DDP" instead of "Deathlist" in the subject header? Lol...

I have added all the lists that were sitting in my inbox this morning AND the two which arrived this afternoon.

We're now at 38 lists sent in for the 2018 Crowdsourced Deathlist. Blimey!

1.       216

2.    208

3.    201

4.       50th 198

---

5.       196

6.        195

7.        194

8.       189

9.       188

10.   186

11. 178

12.  175

13.   171

The battle ground as it looks. I think 46th and higher is likely safe this late in the day, and below...60th is unlikely to move. However, there has been two late late comebacks. One won't surprise you all this past week.

We have 3 celebs who have crashed through the 1000 point barrier! And 10 people have beaten the previous all time points record. I think that's quite cool, myself.

Also if you want a laugh at old me, I was getting so bogged down in the number crunching I found myself with 2 Robert Mugabes, so had to double count his points AND check I hadn't accidentally deleted anyone. No to both, I'd just not deleted an earlier Mugabe when more points came in.

Told my wife about this problem.  She smirked and said: "You must be out of it if you're miscounting the number of Mugabes in the world, dear." :D

No Schaffernaker. Rigged. I tell you. Rigged.

In all seriousness, looks like a good set. Could even beat last years crowd-sourced.

It's looking like a pretty strong list! Amazed to see Bush in P1, but I reckon we'll get a decent 50% this year!

I'm stunned. Brackers lead from 2 vote.... until 5pm yesterday! And her lead over Bush at Christmas was around 250 points!

Delighted to see Baby Peggy and Mary Wilson on the list.

Sidney Poitier too I feel is an excellent choice by the wisdom of the crowd!

I'll do my usual analysis later, but I can't complain with Mary Wilson making the list.

Twigged at picks on both lists and it's less than the past two years, but still a decent amount - 24/50.

Oh, how did you do then? Some names really surprised me - Serra Cary and Caballe (who I was told in the chat is quite ill) for 2.
