Who Should Be On The 2018 Deathlist?

Oh yes, any big political news story from anywhere in the world and we hear about it, particularly from the US.

Just out of genuine interest, what's British political coverage like in Americaland? For no reason whatsoever, I have the impression that the only time anyone had ever heard of Theresa May is when she held Trump's hand on a walk around the White House, and even then just presumed she was just an aged receptionist.

We never get coverage of foreign elections. We got maybe 10 minutes of discussion about the British snap election and an hour of the French election.

McCain is well known in the UK. Among folk who pay even casual attention to politics of course, can't speak for those who don't know what an election is.

For appearance purposes it's good if the #1 is nailed on to go soon and McCain - seriously ill as he is - doesn't look like that animal.

I’m not 100% sure he’ll get a QO, let alone being potential deathlist material...

They're a moderately successful English soccer club who are having one of their worst seasons ever. He thinks he's being funny by bringing them here.

I'd just like to denounce Pierre Balmain and Sacha Distel here for dying years ago and ruining the follow up gag.

But most of them they are famous just in France!

I will say: Pierre Cardin,  Alain Delon, Valery Giscard d Estaing,  Jean Paul Belmondo, Jacques Chirac,...

yeah of course they are famous just in France but we have to take them in count nevertheless (sorry if I made mistakes, my English is really bad…)

Johnny Hallyday has just died today by the way

Alain Delon will not die next year, Belmondo I agree with you but Delon is healthy so I don't think so… you forgot Charles Aznavour

Aznavour and Giscard d’Estaing seem to be in good health for their age. Cardin is older but again, not particularly frail. Chirac is a safer bet. The others don’t feel like they belong on DeathList.
