This news has deeply shocked me.I am in disbelief in fact. The Buzzcocks were one of my all time favourite bands. Are they sure this is true ?

Dan Woods aka Dan Fish aka Chesty Charlesworth, artist and guitarist for The Fabulous Fish Brothers, and also Attila The Stockbroker's Barnstormer, has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 61.

For anyone interested 
Dan Woods' funeral will take place at 2pm on Wednesday 23 January at Brighton Crematorium. The wake will be at The Albert, where he played many times with both the Fish Brothers and Barnstormer, and worked behind the bar. All are welcome. More details soon

I had to look them up, and was amused by this factoid:

 

Their original name was "Sophistifuck and the Revlon Spam Queens", but they had to shorten the name as they could not afford that many letters on a T-shirt.
