Saying things like this you only prove Rotten's attitude towards the world correct.

When Johnny Rotten was on the American version of the Masked Singer in 2021, he was asked why he did the show. Rotten said it was for his wife, whom he conceded wasn't well but knew would enjoy seeing him appear.

Seeing many reports on Facebook saying that Mark Stewart singer in The Pop Group has died

I always went for more avant-garde, experimental music back in the day and The Pop Group's album Y was one of my prized albums. Can't believe it's 44 years since it was released. Sad news about Mark who founded the band.

I’ve never heard of them but I let YouTube be my friend.  This could be the worst band/music in the history of recording. He has to be the worst “singer” ever.  I’m not exaggerating.

Always thought Mark Stewart sounded like Arthur Brown:

Arthur's still with us, by the way, though he must be going on for 80 now.

81 in June, saw him headline a festival when he was 79!

Just found out that Cardiacs former member Tim Quy has been diagnosed with cancer two years ago.

Died 2 months ago: https://www.cardiacs.net/news/ . (I was looking for a way to buy Cardiacs cd's, cause they're not on spotify (and I think they are the kind of band which sounds better on loudspeakers than on my headphones))

Teresa Taylor from the Butthole Surfers in hospice:

From Teresa Taylor:

"Many of you know I am in hospice, end stage. Cheryl Curtice is a godsend. She tends to me without my verbal abuse driving her away ( so far ). No more hospitals. I love being at home. I have an RN Nurse, oxygen, and weak -ass meds. Basket full of WHATEVERS. It sucks, but laughter ensues. I love ya'll. Kiss. Kiss. Morbid. Surreal. Wooo... This is the way step inside. Check you on the flipside."

She also played the woman who tried to sell Madonna's pap smear in Slacker, and appears on the poster. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacker_(film)
