Never reaching the top 30 in the UK, according to the Official Chart webpage their highest ranking was #36 in January 2005 with Strip (although Carlights, a later release, is probably more representative of the genre and is quite a catchy number):

70s and 80s Finnish singer Aikka Hakala, "Teddy Guitar" has died at 63

Suffered from alcoholism in the 2000s, got a cerebral infarction in 2013. Fell in 2016, hit his head and broke his hips and spent his last years in a care home unable to communicate.
