Dylan's seminal 1968 album John Wesley Harding was definitely country. Recorded in Nashville with country musicians.

It was around that time when Dylan laid down some tracks in a recording studio with Johnny Cash. The tracks with Cash have never been officially released, but have appeared on many a bootleg album.

Apologies to @Deathray for misfiring at him.

I was clearly just upset at the news that @Banshees Scream and @Rotten Ali have bowed out. What I would give to curse them just one last time...

Apology accept. I may have been a little more touchy than necessary last night so apologies to you and @msc for that.

It looks like John Clegg is also listed twice.

Don't think so. One's a British actor (John), the other is the South African musician with cancer (Johnny).

Ahhh there was no photo with the other one, so it was difficult to discern between the two.

I really like the description of my team.

One of the DDP's best young players, just missed out on the top 10 last time round. Will probably be a future champion, but is 2018 too soon?

Thank you Spade.

Don't worry, I was a tetchy bastard too (or Glaswegian as you might call it!).

Oh incidentally, thanks for subbing in Pete Stokes to my main team, Spade. Amusingly I take the unique away from myself in the process, but that's fair given circumstances.

@Spade_Cooley - you're inbox is full btw. Do you need any help with bio writing? Any good place to start?

Here's some fag packed aspergers for this year. Made it to include anyone who was at 11th= since DQSBP, Golden Slumbers, and Crossing the Styx aren't competing this year. I did kick out the B Team though, as I felt that a team who we know isn't their first team will massively distort the actual picks:

I'll make sure to submit bios for my uniques - I feel it's only fair considering the amount of them - but that'll wait until the dust settles, of course.

If Ian Toothill doesn't obit he'll be the biggest non-obit (number of people who picked him) ever, beating Michel Delpech.

I think Fergie Frederiksen was on like 20 teams the year he died.

Ah he was my top none pick - I doubted he would get a QO - lucky for whoever picked him maybe as picking him and him not being a unique would have been a bit of a disaster.

Hello.

People I Think Might Die In 2017 team should of course be ...2018.

Many thanks!

Good job Spade and thanks for the hard work.

However, it appears you missed the 9th January death of Odvar Nordli. He got a Mail QO.

Not that I'm complaining. This insured that one of my hits, Bobby Zarin, was part of this update as one of the first 12 to die.

He's part of the second batch, for some reason I had him down as dying on the 19th....

Also, idc if the Neave Brown pun makes no sense to anyone unfamiliar with the top 40 of 2004, I thought it was great wordplay.

Bless the condolences to me over Rayya barely seeing 2018.

(though if she did die in the final days of 2017, I admit I'd feel a bit of a bastard snatching the title from someone who never won before and was retiring!)

Very minimalist logo there, Spade!

I always shied away from circles as they're a fucker to do, so it's a nice contrast to the previous ones...

Any reason why the list of lost/missed is still talking about hits from 2017?

Which forum reader is "20 hits - no problem"? :). He/She read one of my posts.
