Rad - Damn, RIP Drol, who just died today... wait a minute... BREAKING NEWS. Jakes dead, Betancur dead, even Le Duc Anh. All of them dying the day after Drol. Well, better go check Ghost-Twitter.

Ghost-Twitter:

Dead-Drol - GODDAMMMIT!

Dead-msc - LOL.

Dead-charon - No sympathy to the wrong un Rangers fans.

Dead-Willz - Isn't it weird we've got the afterlife on twitter now, and omnipotence, and still no one knows what the fuck happened to Magere Hein?

Mustafa Ben Halim for me. Partly because he's apparently resident in Libya again, which is hardly the safest place on earth.

Moved back to Dubai in 2015 to stay with his daughter.

Something about old Mustafa. As I said he left Lybia some time ago. His wife died last year on April the 10th. From his son's Facebook page I can show you how he looked for his 97th birthday last January.

Kudos for digging up that info on my pick! Generally he's very healthy-looking for his age there, aside from some good going ear creases (which can be a marker of cardiovascular disease, oddly enough).

Indeed, I'm a tad surprised that we've seen 6 months without a death from this list. Fairly confident they won't all make it another 6 months though...

Three months to go man and then you would have definitely jinxed it!

I noticed that no state leader has ever died aged between 97 years, 296 days and 98 years, 13 days. Le Đuc Anh will soon enter this period, so will he fill the gap?

If it helps, I went for a bet hedge by picking a few of them in the new Inverse dead pool.  So now they might start dropping like flies just to spite me...

The mighty dangerous Super Typhoon Mangkhut (Mangosteen) is due to arrive in northern Vietnam in 3 days time: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/14/typhoon-mangkhut-brings-blinding-rain-to-northern-philippines

Probably not a good time to be old and frail...

EDIT: forecasts now show a more northerly course, so this should miss Hanoi.

Can I play? I didn’t take part in any of the previous rounds.

If so, I’ll take Do Muoi.
