Luis Echeverria.

I will pick Mohammad Hasan Sharq just because all the good picks have gone  and they don't tend to  have a long life expectancy in Afghanistan...

You will probably win again though !

Has anyone found anything on the North Koreans celebrating Kim Yong Ju's 100th birthday? If they havent then it might be that hes probably already dead for some time, maybe he should be omitted from the list.

1)I said multiple times he was born in 1922. So you have to wait two more years before an eventual centenarian birthday spread from the Young Leader.

2)I also said I'll wait till a certain hypothetical age of him to take him off if his death is not announced.

3)Stop bumping this thread for no apparent reason

So, congrats again to the talented mr. Quim for his 1456th hit. VGE was a decent guy and politician, COVID could have chosen better from the list. Queen Elizabeth II advances to the top and there are now 5 survivors from 1926. Will she remain as the last one standing? Surely mr. Wade and mr. Jiang are tougher opponents than VGE... or maybe not.

List to be updated and round to be started.

New entry is cardinal Angelo Sodano, who held the regency of Vatican city after pope Benedict's resignation in 2013. A harsh denier of sexual abuse by priests, he is considered a reject even by his fellow clerics, like the late Henryk Gulbinowicz. Surely will be a good riddance. Choose your picks!
