between the deaths of Jill Ireland on may 17 1990 and Jim Joel on march 23 1992 .Clearly in those days we weren't nearly so good at predicting deaths !

I don’t know about you, but I definitely wasn’t good at predicting deaths then. I wasn’t even born yet...

Daily Mail obit here, though he's not a DDP pick unfortunately. Was on the shortlist for my 2019 NFL theme team.

Not AP copy/paste btw - an actual full article. Interesting read too, Alex Spanos was definitely an important figure in American sports history. RIP.

Straight from Wikipedia, but too interesting:

Dennis Hof, US brothel owner, dead at 72:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6283331/Bunny-Ranch-brothel-owner-Dennis-Hof-dies-aged-72-just-weeks-general-election.html

He called himself the "Trump from Parumph". His partner was Heidi Fleiss, a.k.a. the infamous "Hollywood Madam".

His corpse was found by Ron Jeremy a day after a birthday party with infamous Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
