The BBC share the news too.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-42784305  Noticed the support sent to him from Nancy Sinatra. How is her health these days?

She survived a hip operation & her mom is still alive. I hoped that she would exploit the death of her odious stepmom & write a tell-all book (the fact that Barbara's son is a lawyer seems to frighten her, though).

Lately, dear Nancy has become unhinged & deals out blows left & right at Twitter. She called NRA members "murderers" & ICE agents "nazis". I'll keep an eye on her.

Parkinson's takes a while.   Sometimes decades.

Yip, it can make life a bit harder but I don't think it actually takes off that much time on average. It can be deadly but as long as it was caught early and treated properly Neil should be fine.

78 today! :birthday:

Which is a number that'll likely mean something to him - being the likely turntable speed of some of the first singles he bought.

His voice sounds as good as ever and he doesn't look too bad all things considered.

Autotune can make anyone sound good.

Sadly, it was not available for the has-beens who "sang" at Brenda's Platinum Jubilee concert.

Neil Diamond is only just accepting his Parkinson’s diagnosis. The singer-songwriter, who is 82, first announced his diagnosis and that he would be retiring from touring in 2018. But in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning that will air this weekend, Diamond admitted he spent the two years after his doctor informed him of his diagnosis in complete denial.

Diamond said he only started to process that he had Parkinson’s “in the last few weeks.”

Doesn’t sound autotuned at all to me.

Not only would it not make sense in that scenario, he clearly doesn't need it, but it would also likely be technically difficult because the show doesn't use it...
