Yours, etc., SC I'm gonna disagree with you on Amitabh Bachchan as he is considered the most famous Bollywood actor ever and known pretty much everywhere in the Eastern world. I am nigh 100% sure that when he dies, his death will make front page BBC News as other Bollywood actors who were much lesser in fame (such as Shashi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna) did. Hence, I think he definitely counts as a celebrity. He hasn't made his mark on the West, I guess, but he made his Hollywood debut in the 2013 Baz Luhrmann film, The Great Gatsby, as Meyer Wolfsheim.
