What you all need to do if unhappy is go back in time and get yourself stolen by the Catholic church at birth. I had a much nicer name after that happened!

My origi-mother used to dress my brother (a royal marine of thirty years service) as a girl for ages and almost had him lifted too except she could prove he wasn't a she.

I'm very annoyed I never knew the whole crazy crew of them back then because they sound fantastic! Even more insane than the dysfunctional family I was put with if that's even possible. It would have been great craic altogether.

I think it's something seventies like Lee. Lee or Mark. Or Matthew. Or John. Biblical.

I'd say what mine is but  then

Paul Bearer would be giving out to me about dangerous data sharing on Facebook...

Natalie and Nathan were the names I always dreaded seeing on the register when I was still teaching, though I do still like the name Nathan.

Julia as another one come to think of it which explains why I dislike it so much.

Boudicca you’re onto something.

I bet it’s a faux French name like Jean that plays in France or Canada but is an exclusive girly girl’s name in (America at least).

Might I add the following names of some women of my past acquaintance who really deserve mentioning-and not only for their gaudy chosen monikers, but for the fact their ugly names beaitifully matched their characters:

Gabi,Scarlett,Jessie-May,Patricia,Laloutha & Charmaine...

To even things up,here's a list of male names I despise:

Paul. Apparently the prison population has more Pauls languishing within Her Majesty's walls than any other represented name.Vile appellation thankfully now relegated to the dead pool of evil, along with Myra,Ian,Harold & Jeremy

Leanne, LeeAnn, Leighanna and their ilk.  Just sound slutty to me, but I can't put my finger on why.

A woman on this evening's episode of 'The Chase' has just said her son's name is (pronounced) Trilly-kaysh. :o

For me, sounding slutty is a positive attribute.
