Names We Like

Recommended Posts

Like the previous name thread, but instead it’s names that we like. I’ll start: Martha.

I  like quite  lot of N names, Nina, Naomi, Natasha, Nadia, Nicole (but not Nicola), L names Lorna, Laura, Lucy and K names Kirsten, Katrin, Katherine, Karen, Kirree (Manx for sheep but used a girls' name here)

For men I like Gregory and Gregor (but not Greg), Roland, Alexander , Sebastian and one I'm very embarrassed about, Clive.

Persephone.

Rene or variations. Sexiest name in existence.  All Rene’s are real purty-like.

Off topic, but Gordon Kaye slightly resembles my DDP unique pick, Gerard Basset....

Not necessarily, I worked with a René for a time - she definitely spelt her name that way (and was very purty pretty (but married)).

For guys, I like more casual or even formal names: Liam, William, James, Jack, etc ; However, I don't like John.

For girls, I like less common yet simple names: Audrey, Sienna, Paisley, Pressley, etc. I am also fond of Solana.

Fauve (this dates me, Mistral's Daughter) oh and Audrina does too. Wouldn't inflict them on real people though.

Rob as stated on the other thread, all sound, but most recently Cassidy. I'm not having any more children so if I have to name anything again it'll be a collie, after this boy in the back.
